Busting and Building Image Copy

Your Self Image is a result of your beliefs about yourself.  You’ve changed a core belief and now it’s time to change a faulty self-image.  Your image is what you think, what you do, and what you say on a daily basis.   You Self-Image can consist of what others (usually a family member) have projected upon you.  Family lore, both positive and negative is layered upon you. If you have been physically and/or sexually abused, you especially have a false, painful and sometimes nasty image of yourself.

Your Self Image is just beneath the surface of your conscious mind.  You can change negative beliefs but can be pulled back by a negative Self Image.  Outlined below is a technique to bust your old image and build your new image.  You have an image of self in each area of your life as well as an overall image of yourself.  I recommend you do this process as well as changing negative beliefs periodically.
